Named after the towering peak overlooking Stellenbosch Mountain, Guardian Peak was founded in 1998 by Jean Engelbrecht, who drew on his family's winemaking heritage and international wine expertise to craft approachable, everyday wines sourced from long-standing relationships with respected local growers.
